HiQ invests in nationwide standards programme across UK network
Tuesday, 9th July 2024
The improved programme represents a significant investment for HiQ, and will enable it to focus efforts on delivering consistent, industry-leading standards across its UK network. Consultants will assess more than 200 parameters, including the store’s aesthetics, customer service and range of capabilities.
This will ensure that everyone enters a safe environment where all regulations and compliance requirements are met. Every HiQ strives to deliver the best possible service, which will be enhanced further with the consultancy process.
The audit is a significant part of why franchises are attracted to the 160-branch network, and represents one of the many investments that HiQ is making to benefit its partners.
The process, which began in May, is independently accredited by the CAR Consulting Group, a specialist automotive consultancy. The company specialises in helping companies continuously improve with its highly skilled and professional team of inspectors and consultants.
HiQ centres are typically small independent businesses run by entrepreneurs who benefit from being part of a nationally recognised and Goodyear-backed network.
The audit will give HiQ a deeper analysis of its network, enabling more opportunities to shape marketing and operational strategy moving forward. Centres will receive a platinum, gold or silver certification based on their performance, which will be displayed in reception areas and used for local marketing.
HiQ Coventry, located on Endemere Road, was one of the first to go through the audit process. Its Centre Manager Jack Petch commented: “It’s a fantastic experience being part of a new standards audit for the company. It's always nice to showcase how much hard work and determination goes into making a safe, clean and presentable workplace and maintaining the premium HiQ Tyres & Autocare brand identity.”
Dack Motor Group also operates a HiQ centre in Coventry. The centre, located on Torrington Avenue, has also been through the audit process.
Craig Sprigmore, Goodyear Retail Director UK & Ireland, explains the benefit of the nationwide audit: “HiQ has a culture of constant improvement and looking ahead to the future. This audit helps us recognise the exceptional work that goes on inside HiQ centres every day, while also identifying how we as a franchise can ensure consistency of experience, standards and quality for every driver that chooses HiQ.
“I’d like to thank our franchisees and service partners for their commitment and engagement to the process, each of whom recognise the investment that will make us stronger as a brand.”
