HiQ Looks To The Future At National Conference And Gala

Wednesday, 17th April 2024

More than 130 delegates, as well as HiQ franchisees, members of the HiQ Council and Goodyear UK’s retail associates, attended the Jaguar Experience Centre in Castle Bromwich, Birmingham, for a full day of business discussions and training.

The daytime session included updates from Marketing, Fleet, Brand and Strategy as HiQ looks ahead to the future of its retail operations. This included overviews of the company’s new business models and growth strategy.

The conference continued into the evening with the HiQ Pride Awards Ceremony, dinner and entertainment at The Belfry Hotel & Resort. The theme was pink tie in aid of Breast Cancer Now, HiQ’s long-term charity partner. More than £3,500 was raised on the evening, which will go directly to help support breast cancer research and the development of vital treatment.

That figure means HiQ is a step closer to its target of £150,000 for the charity.

Company growth a key highlight

Since the company last met in October 2022, 14 franchisees have joined HiQ’s network of service Centres. That growth has continued into 2024, with the introduction of new B2B business models and the expansion of the franchisee network, including 17 physical Centre openings and several new business partners set to enjoy the benefits of being part of the HiQ brand.

Craig Sprigmore, Goodyear Retail Director UK & Ireland: “It was fantastic to see so many colleagues and business partners join us in Birmingham for HiQ’s National Conference. It was a great opportunity for us to regroup and focus on the future of the business, whether that’s attracting new franchisee partnerships or continuing to deliver excellent customer service to everyone who walks into a HiQ store.

“The ‘futurebound’ theme of this conference demonstrates the focus that all of our members have to create the best online and in-store experience for customers. Also, a huge congratulations to everyone who was recognised with an award tonight, and to everyone who has contributed to the success of HiQ.”
