Record number of HiQ Centres receive ‘platinum’ or ‘gold’ grade for service and standards in independent nationwide audit
Tuesday, 3rd December 2024
- 91% of centres receive Platinum, Gold or Silver ratings
- Six centres receive the highest Platinum grade
- 200 parameters measured in most detailed audit yet
HiQ Tyres & Autocare has successfully concluded a comprehensive nationwide audit of its network. This strategic investment ensures that every HiQ location continues to meet and exceed expectations in operational excellence, reinforcing its commitment to delivering industry-leading autocare service standards across the UK.
The standards programme began in May and was conducted by CAR Consulting Group, a specialist automotive consultancy. Across its nationwide network of 160 centres, the programme evaluated more than 200 parameters, including the centres’ appearance, aesthetics, customer service and technical expertise. The results demonstrate the network’s consistent performance, with 5% of centres achieving the highest ‘Platinum’ rating, 47% awarded ‘Gold’ and 39% receiving ‘Silver’.
HiQ’s ‘Platinum’ designation is awarded to the elite category of centres that can prove they have turned the network’s highly regarded professional standards into a truly outstanding customer experience. These high standards are a direct reflection of the strong reputation HiQ has built for delivering a professional and seamless experience for customers.
Compared to HiQ’s last audit, results have improved by 27.6%, highlighting the success of the rebranding efforts and the elevated standards achieved across all centres. The strength of the audit results reinforce this reputation, also positioning HiQ an attractive investment opportunity for franchisees eager to join a growing, nationally-recognised network, backed by Goodyear.
Driving network-wide success
HiQ’s standards programme is an integral part of its broader strategy to support its franchisees, store managers and service partners, by providing the guidance necessary for business to succeed in an increasingly competitive market. The programme reinforces HiQ’s commitment to investing in store success, ensuring that each centre delivers the quality and service expected by today’s automotive consumer.
Craig Sprigmore, Goodyear Retail Director UK & Ireland, commented: “The nationwide standards programme is more than just a benchmarking exercise, it is a crucial part of our goal in delivering platinum-level service to motorists. By identifying strengths and opportunities across the network, the independent audit focuses our team to be the best in every town where HiQ operates.
“We’re delighted by the results of the audit, and would like to thank all the centres for their collaboration during the process. The audit results place HiQ in a stronger position to monitor performance across the network, and implement strategies to maximise consistency and quality. This is an important step in ensuring we continue to deliver the outstanding service HiQ customers across the country expect to receive.”
Certified with pride
The highest-achieving HiQ centres will receive an official accreditation plaque to display on their premises. This will give customers reassurance that their vehicle is in the hands of experts who have been audited at a high level. This coveted accolade will recognise the team efforts in each store, reinforcing HiQ’s commitment to training and standards development.
