Friday, 9th April 2021
As car care experts we get a lot of questions from customers about their vehicles. A particularly hot topic is the MOT test. Everything from how to prepare for it, most common failures and what is actually checked in an MOT.
We’ve created an MOT one-stop-hub for everything you ever wanted to know about MOTS.
While you’re exploring, don’t forget to check out our MOT toolbox. Whether you’re looking for your MOT due date, want to print out your MOT certificate, check a vehicle’s MOT history or simply sign up for our free MOT reminder service, we’ve got you covered.
Our latest addition to our MOT HUB is a simple guide to what exactly is checked in the MOT test.
Check it out here.
Remember, the MOT test looks at several key vehicle components, which depending on the condition of those components, could add up to a fail or a pass. However, the test does not cover the overall condition of the engine, the clutch, or the gearbox.
