All-season tyres combine the best of both summer and winter tyres so they can perform well all year round. They have a unique compound that maintains elasticity in both cold and warm weather. The tread pattern is designed with both summer and winter in mind with deep grooves and sipes to deal with adverse weather conditions.
All season tyres are a great choice if switching between summer and winter tyres would be inconvenient for you, especially if you don’t have anywhere to store your tyres. Equally, in the UK we tend to have mild winters, so all-season tyres are usually good enough to cope with our wintry weather. However, if you do live in a rural area which suffers from particularly bad winter weather, then you may consider winter tyres a better option.
